Hi Peg - probably just a slip of the digit, but the walk is on Sunday, not tomorrow!

I'm sure someone local will confirm, but I expect it will go ahead. Best to take water if the hot weather continues though.

Hello Peg and welcome to the forum

Yes the walk is on Sunday and will still go ahead, look forward to meeting you

The weather is looking quite warm for tomorrow, could everyone please bring water for the dogs and themselves.

There will also be a short walk, the short walk will finish in the shaded area under the trees.

Some of us stay for a tea/coffee after the walk, if the cafe is busy we will stay under the trees for shade

I have arranged good weather for this walk. ;)

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, have been suffering from Greyhound walking withdrawal symptoms lately! ;D

I think we all fell in love with Boris - what a stunner he is! Hope someone got some pictures? ???

Thank you to everyone who came to the walk today, we had 35 dogs out on this hot sunny day.

Sorry the walk took longer than usual today, due to the hot weather we made more stops to make sure all the dogs had water and were cooled down.

Great to see Dickie out and doing so well after his amputation.

Thank you all today for making me and Boris so welcome. We enjoyed it very much and would love to attend other walks. My apologies for the pitiful donation at the end, I had come unprepared but will make up for this next time if I may!

Thank you Linda, Jan and Andy for a lovely walk. I don't think anyone suffered too much in the heat with all the rests under trees and copious water.

After all the trouble to keep mine cool, Polly came home and lay in the sun in the garden. Why do I bother? ::)

It was nice to meet shy Boris and the lovely Dickie who had a rest with his head in my lap at the end, what a stoical boy.

Lovely walk this morning and it was so good to see so many water containers in evidence on the walk.

I'm not sure who actually got the hottest - hounds or humans! ;D

Not my usual visual contribution as I wasn't feeling that well but just a slight reminder of a very hot walk. I think the hounds were well watered and some interest shown by passers-by. (Hope it's cooler next time.)
