Great news

Starting at the New Years Day walk you'll be able to buy tickets for the Greyhound Walks Show Grand Raffle.

Tickets are just £1 or a book of 5 for £5

Even at this early stage we have some great prizes, including:

  • £250 cash
  • A weeks use of a holiday home in lovely Derbyshire
  • Clay Pigeon experience for two people
  • A group tour of Aldwych Underground Station - normally only ever seen by film and TV crews

More great prizes will be added throughout the run up to the show.

So, how can you buy your tickets ?
Simple... The lovely Linda Hudson, and the equally lovely Paul Culfear will be selling them at the New Years Day walk.
After that, Linda will be co-ordinating the sale of tickets at all walks from now until show day.

So, bring your purses and wallets and grab your tickets :) :)

A big thank you to those who have donated such wonderful prizes.

Please contact myself or Linda if you or your company would like to donate a prize

And here's what they look like :)

I reckon if an image of a greyhound running was painted on each face, with each face showing a slightly different part of the run cycle, then, when the drum was spun, it would look like the greyhound was actually running - how cool would that be!?!

Do I need to get out more? [image]

I had a volunteer (who's gone worryingly quiet) offer to paint the raffle drum :)

Moving pictures is a great idea Steve but yours move sideways and the drum rotates so you'd need an animation that went horizontally ... greyhound playbowing, going from stand to lie down, wagging it's tail?

I'll sling that one back-at-cha Steve ;)
