Not necessarily the right place to post this, but I'm betting that most folks will read it.

CALLING ALL HERTS WALKERS (and anyone else who can come to a Herts Walk).

As you have read elsewhere, we are attending a couple of couple of Xmas events this year - Ware and Swaffham.

We like to be able to sell a few bits and bobs to raise a little for the hounds and the GWWI is hard at work making nice Christmassy things.

But you can help too. :)

Please bring along to any of the walks between now and December, any quality "tat" you don't want. By this we mean things that will sell at reasonable prices which people might buy as stocking fillers. Unwanted gifts (either human or doggy) are ideal. Second hand items are generally pretty difficult to sell, so we try to avoid these if possible.

I remember one year, someone gave us a whole load of mini toiletries that "came" from hotel rooms, and we packaged them up in an attractive way and sold loads!

If you're not sure if something will do, bring it along anyway! :)

Thank you. ;D

I am hoping to come and see you all at the cafe after the walk as I'm still not confident in walking long distances. Fingers crossed the weather is dry

Hopefully see some of you tomorrow. You won't be able to miss me as Harry gave me a fat lip this morning and oh boy is it bruised!

We won't be there but hope to see some of you next week at Royston.

Enjoy the walk - the Sunday dinner at The Windmill is very good - the weather looks set fair.

Thank you Andy and Jan for a lovely DRY ;) walk today.

It was nice to see the new additions to some packs and have a natter.

(You were missed Mervyn and your whole gang).

Thank you to the 35 hounds who allowed their humans to come out to play this morning. ;D

Great to see some new faces as well as the regulars.

Royston next Sunday, and Stanborough Lakes, Welwyn Garden City on November 18th.

See you there!

So good to catch up with some of you after the walk, just sorry I'm still not confident enough to do the walk.

Thanks for the nice comments about my new boy Ruso
