The Bluebells are superb at the moment and the air is heavy with their scent. I would say "no" to off lead as the woods are quite dense away from the paths and they are full of Rabbits, Foxes, Deer etc. The last picture I took of her was near the edge of the wood and I just unclipped the lead without her realising and quickly took the photo! However, if you live nearby well worth a visit .

Sheena, We must come over as I didn't know this existed and it is so difficult to find shady walks. My two oldies can't stand the heat, nor can I!!

That looks absolutely fabulous. I think it looks like a must for the calender during bluebell season next year. Ideal place for all those budding photographers it would be a lovely picture on the greyhound walks calender.

Adds note to self, find bluebell walks for next years calendars!
Is April bluebell month? March daffodil month? February crocus month?

Couldn't make the Show as too hot for the dogs but we had a walk through part of these woods instead and it was really very pleasant plus it's so near to where we live! Our two and foster dog seemed to enjoy the new place as it was cool there but they were still panting a lot and lots of great sniffs were had.
