Hope the weather isn't miserable on Sunday like it has been here today as I enjoy sitting around chatting to folks after the walk at the cafe, if it isn't full of children.

Andy & Jan have done it again as we had a lovely walk around the lake today in good weather plus a chat with friends afterwards at the cafe while the dogs had treats and snoozed. The sausage rolls there are very light and meaty.
It was great to see people that we don't often meet up with and a very special hallo to Jackie and John with Captain & his girl hounds. Hadn't seen Kris for ages but still didn't manage to chat to you or Sarah or Lizzy as we got too spread out along the walk with too many hounds between us at the cafe.
Maureen was there from Harlow Hounds who are based at Waltham Abbey just up the lane from Barley Kennels. They seem to be forgotten up there with about 21 dogs looking for homes (and the kennel is going to close) but she brought along Bertie a handsome, well behaved blue boy aged 7 who has been waiting for a home for over a year. He is so calm and friendly that he'll make a wonderful pet and I wanted to bring him back here as he was kenneled with Finn who is our foster boy.

31 Hounds proudly walked their humans around the Park this morning. Several new folks too - some even said they'd come again! Don't forget the GBGW next Sunday and thanks for your support as ever.
