In our humble attempts to organise social events we like to try and come up with new ideas for a fun night out.
Quiz Nights are always popular, the Race Night did well and I'm sure we'll repeat that but does anyone have any other ideas about what we could do?
Beetle Drive? Games Night? Music Night? Disco?
We're all ears ;D

What's a Beetle Drive? Excuse my ignorance. We could do a bowling night. Get a group booking at a bowling center and appeal to their charity side to see if they could do us a 'special' deal.

How about a pub games night - darts, shove ha'penny, dominos etc? That's a good idea ... a Pub Nite ... not sure about darts flying around if there's dogs along and whether a village hall would be happy for darts ... but there's also cribbage, whist etc.

Ooooh, that sound fun and quiet sociable. Perhaps we could draw greyhounds instead of beetles though?

Educational night? I went last night to a canine mind and body night. It was a jan fennel trained behaviourist followed by a lady doing bowen massage. The training bit was very interesting on dog language - it could have gone on longer and used dogletts as a demo. The bowen bit - the lady wasnt brill but alternative therapies are interesting. what do you think??? ps it took me over 2 hours to get home from chelmsford - I was surrounded by flood and the journey should have been 25 minutes. I did think at one point that I was going to have to sleep in my car and drive home this morning
