Just looking at some pictures that Lizzy has put on Facebook. You could do a Ball of some sort, but you would probably need somewhere big enough to have quiet room for dogs etc

She was at some WAGs Ball or something. It looked rather booze fuelled Perhaps we could have a little less booze? ;D

couldn't we have either an individual or team Wii competition. We could set up with a big TV either in a hall or big home and do sports or anything really. It's great for a laugh, people of different mobility and abilities can enjoy (my mum and dad both have really bad arthritis and they play on it for hours!) ;D

Going back to the Ball idea, one of my friends is organising a black tie charity ball for Help for Heroes. They've got 4 course meal and all that jazz, and they have an auction with local businesses putting up the prizes. They've got zookeeper for a day from Colchester Zoo, a night in a suite at Down Hall (where she got married), a signed Spurs shirt etc. Could Greyhound Walks do something similar?

I know it is a bit 'west' of the GW stomping ground but don't forget that Harlow Stadium has a nice big function room plus a smaller 'club house' (where the food is served at our show).
If this venue could be of any use for a GW event then let me know and I can discuss with Dave the stadium owner.
