Greyhound Walks are holding its first camping weekend on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th June 2010 at the Cliff House Holiday Park, Minsmere Road, Dunwich, Saxmundham Suffolk IP17 3DQ Tel: 01728 648282 Email: info@cliffhouseholidays.co.uk www.cliffhouseholidays.co.ukThe campsite is very popular and already are taking bookings for next year so we recommend you book early so as not to miss out ;D Its a beautiful part of the country with some lovely walks and places to visit I thought it would be much easier (for me ) if you book direct with the campsite. The pitches that are available and are grouped together are numbered: 184 to 189, 195, 196, 197, 200, 201, 202,203 and 209, 210, 212 to 215. You would need to choose a number/pitch when booking. There are various pitches accommodating either tent or caravan/motor home with electric hook up. The cost of two people and a pitch (with free electric hook up) is £16 per night. Awning costs £2.20 Additional adults £3.50 Children (4-14 yrs) £1.70 Per dog £1.50 The campsite also has two holiday cottages that are dog friendly which are available to hire for the weekend they are called Holly Tree Cottage and Honey House although not cheap at around £175. The nearby Ship Inn at Dunwich (about 5 mins drive away) or 30 minute walk also has dog friendly accommodation costing £95 for a standard room. It promises to be a fun weekend with some walks arranged and stuff to do!

I would have expected nothing less of you ;D I don't do canvas as there are no sockets to plug my straighteners into and I can't do a weekend of 'Crystal-Tipps'.

Camping, Blokey style. Yup, I know there's a tent. But, you can either have 6 berths and no booze, or 5 berth and a bed to stash the beers. All due respect to Dave (not this one) for making the sacrifice and slumming it under a plastic sheet. And of course the obligatory beer wall during construction. That's Dave (not this one), the sacrificial one. He didnt build the wall as he's a banker ... therefore only good at collapsing things ;D

The beach immediately below the campsite which is on a cliff is shingle with very steep steps going down so a big no no, but if you walk up to Dunwich itself about 25 mins (or 5 min drive), there is a green area behind the beach is really nice but the beach again along there is shingle. In answer to your question dogs are allowed on the beach all year round!! There are also lots of nice heathland and woodland walks. Dunwich Heath is a popular area for dog owners
