On my hen night there were two songs that got people up on the dancefloor quickly. Black Eyed Peas - I got a Feeling (On the 'Good' list) and S-Club 7 - Don't stop Moving (for the 'Ugly' list) You can't beat a bit of S Club ;D Reach is better than Don't Stop Moving What about The Killers, Scouting for Girls and Athlete?

Absolute proper cheese - Hi Ho silver lining - everybody groans, but then they all seem to know the words while flailing about on the dancefloor Bon Jovi are super cool in my book and Living on a Prayer always seems to get the party going ;D If we're having Kings of Leon could I request we restrict it to 'your sex is on fire' please - can't stand anything else they've done - sorry guys. Got to agree with no Mariah Carey. That woman couldn't sing a straight note if her life depended on it! What is it with all the wobbly warbling she comes out with? Christmas songs: Elton John - step into Christmas Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime Jackson 5 - Santa Claus is Coming to Town Slade - you know the one Wizzard - I wish it could be Christmas every day Howzat?

Do you think we could have Richard Marx - Right here waiting. I know its really really sickly, but that it our song. go on 1,2,3 ahhhh. Other than that my choices of music are rather eclectic to say the least & some of it would prob get most of you running for the taxi rank - i LOVE love love, Trance, heavy house & garage. So what about some scooter, energy 52, Lazard or snap! or if thats all a bit much how about some billy idol, def leppard, Take That or E17 . I did warn you that it was a bit of an odd assortment.....

I'm desperately trying to remain neutral on all these suggestions as that is the professional thing to do But it may be as well to give the general 'rules' for requests... - If someone requests something another guest cannot unrequest it!
- All requests are taken, however the timing and playing of that request is the DJs job.
- I won't laugh at any request however esoteric or at the other end of the spectrum cheesy - that doesn't mean that I'm not laughing on the inside ;D
- The main point of the 'Do' is to enjoy yourselves, being a DJ I equate this to dancing - hence I WILL give a preference to tracks that can be danced too!
Thanks to Jane for giving a response to whether people would like to hear Christmas tunes on the night or not! In defence of Ms Carey (not something I do generally ) "Fantasy" is one of the funkiest tracks of the mid '90s. Cheers John.

ALL Glam Rock is great!!!!!! (except Gary Glitter) Particularly Wizzard - Ball Park Incident See My Baby Jive (best commercial pop song ever written IMHO) Are You Ready to Rock etc. We already have a request in for "I Wish It Could Be Xmas Everyday", but anything else Roy Wood was involved with is fantastic! ESPECIALLY - California Man - The Move's last single, and underplayed in my view. They only recorded it to fulfil a contractual agreement - the Move were already broken up really, but it was probably their greatest song! "We Love to Boogie" - T Rex is a cracker too! How sad am I?

Sounds like my sort of thing - I love jump music and eurodance as well as almost anything else. Unfortunately I can't dance too well to Scooter et al in a wheelchair. Or if I try watch your feet. ;D ;D

I'm surprised I Will Survive hasn't been mentioned yet. I will probably get shot for suggesting this, but PJ & Duncan - Lets Get Ready To Rhumble. One of my friends from work may be coming with her 6 year old daughter. Sarah says Jessie will dance to anything but quite likes the Pussycat Dolls apparently. And you can't beat a bit of Shakira ;D
