Due to some unforeseen circumstances which have arisen this weekend, neither Janet or I are going to be available at all next weekend.
Because of this, we would like to postpone the BBQ. We’re really sorry to muck you around but we feel this is the best thing to do. We’re hoping we can let you have new date during next weekend, and that everyone will still want to come along. If you’d like your ticket money returned then please just let me know.
Members who have bought or ordered tickets have been emailed via their registered email address.
Thanks for your understanding.
Dave & Janet

Righty-ho ;D I think everyone appreciates why we had to postpone the BBQ. With Chelsea going in to the vets for treatment we knew she wouldn't be well enough to go along and as it was celebrating her birthday it wouldn't have been right without her there. She's now very much better so we can announce the new date is ... Saturday 31st JulyWe hope those who bought tickets can still come along and anyone else who would like to come of course you're more than welcome

Preparations are now well in hand ... just deliberating whether to do another 'Triathlon' type game like we did last time ... such a hard act to follow!

this is what we've got planned ...
Hi everyone, have a drink then ... weather permitting 30 - 45 minute walk across the fields, which may or may not be rabbitty, so bring your best and strongest leads! then ... BBQ food served by our HOT chefs followed by some scrummy home made desserts, plus if you're feeling clever have a go at our fun and frustrating Summer Quiz then ... Garden Games ... a selection of games to bring out the competitor in you, including the successor to the legendary 2009 Sausage Triathlon ... The Greyhound Walks Great Sausage Pentathlon!. He who dares wins! ;D then ... No birthday celebration for our special girl would be right without a Pass the Parcel then ... time to chill then head for home/be thrown out!
Look forward to seeing you all.
All of the above is included in your ticket price ... we will have a raffle and bar with soft and alcoholic drinks that will need your pennies if you want to spend some money ;D

Lovely BBQ
After a very wet start to the day it turned out just perfect.
Thanks to Charlotte and David for letting us use their garden and to everyone for the hard work involved.
Amber & Dylan enjoyed their yoghurt, cheese, liver cake, cheese biscuit, birthday cake and sausages, and all the games that included food!! they slept all the way home and breakfast was very boring this morning they never touched it.
