We are still working our way through the washing up cos we were both too knackered to do it last night and we were at 5 parishes today. And I think we will be eating rice, cous cous and several puddings for the next week ;D

We have some lost property bits here. A white shirt, a ladle and a red washing basket with bits and pieces in it (I think the last one is Mum's). Let me know whose is what and I will deliver to the next Braintree walk.

Thank you to everyone to coming to celebrate Chelsea's birthday, she says to say she was a little overwhelmed so that's why she was a little quiet, but she loved her cake and is looking forward to next years

A very big thank you to David and Charlotte for letting us use their rather lovley garden and a VERY BIG thank you to those who helped preparations in advance and on the day (especially Dave who did most all of the shopping and to-ing and fro-ing, Fran who cooked and baked her little fingers raw, and Karen Deeprose who magic'd some desserts for me at short notice.)

Was hoping the burger tossers would do it Australian style but they didn't Maybe next year Kevin?



Things didn't look good as we headed out to buy sausages and rolls in the pouring rain on Saturday morning, not helped by a chirpy checkout lady sniggering as she asked if we were having a BBQ . Personally I don't want to slice another onion, chop another pepper or roll another piece of corn in foil ever! Well, not for a while anyway!

We planned this as a social event so are so pleased everyone enjoyed themselves. I'm sure you'll be amazed to hear that we somehow managed to make £424.99, I was! (Will I have Essex Police on the doorstep saying Dave shop lifted the groceries!)

Planning next years already, we're expecting a few more
