Full details to come very shortly, but ... ... well, wait and see. Clue: Nothing to scoff at, but judging by past events it wont just be a "walk in the park"

Any more on this yet? suspense is killing me Oppsie, sorry I forgot to come back and update this thread We’ve moved the Essex walk from Chelmsford to Greyhound Walks adopted home: Gt Notley Country Park Braintee – also home to the Greyhound Walks Show. GBGW Essex will also be based on the same field as the Greyhound Walks Show. We'll have long and short walks After the walk we’ll be having a picnic, so either bring your own sandwiches or treat yourself to something from Drakes Cafe in the Discovery Centre. Once dogs and humans are fed, the Greyhound Walks Display Team will be doing their latest routine. In the afternoon we’ll be having a Greyhound & Lurcher show with special guest judge. We’ll also be joined by some of the local rehoming kennels and some dog related traders. And if you're interested in techy stuff, and want to see how it's done - we'll be collecting data from all GBGW walks, and doing real time updates to Facebook, Twitter, the GBGW website and good old fashioned text messaging. greatbritishgreyhoundwalk.org.uk/walks/braintree-walk-2012/

Is it all breeds? I'll start my novel to read out for entering George for Sorriest Tale No, not all breeds. Just real dogs - Greyhounds, Lurchers, Whippets etc Ok, it was decided at the meeting last night that the Fun Dog Show is open to any breed. Long, short, skinny or fat - bring your dog and see what the judge thinks of it. ;D

If other breeds are to be present on the day, I'd like to add a class for loudest, barkiest dog - I think my sweet, little AsboDog is bound to win that
