We got home at 10 to 1 and I was up early for my driving lesson this morning. Poor David was very bleary eyed when I left at 11.30.

Sorry I didn't make it 'cos it sounds like it was great night! However, not sure I would have stayed the pace till the small hours....I might have been crashed out with the houndies! Hope to make a future one though.

We are very proud of our 'losers' wooden spoons ;D Our original team got blown out so thanks to Dave for sorting us out Hopefully Jack doesn't have too much of a headache from banging his head on the table at least twice, and managed to refrain from chewing his way through any more leads! It was two and a half by the end of the night ;D

Jack's head seems fine, but it doesn't seem to have knocked any sense into him. I have ordered replacement leads, but I don't know if they will be ' Jack-proof'

Glad you liked your "Losing"spoons Charlotte Im sure SuE will be along later on to reveal the totals raised but I just want to say Thanks to everyone buying raffle tickets and donating Raffle prizes on the night. The total from the raffle and "Win A Bear" was £206,bestest amount ever! Special thanks from me to Vicky for her brilliant desserts,I want to come live with you,Sue for her rice dish, and to Sara for doing her potato and pasta salads despite not feeling so good. Hope everyone had a good time. My kitchens back to normal today and my freezers full with non GW foodie stuff! ;D

Sue has just been in touch and her Boss is lurking so she cant put totals on here yet-so shes asked me to do it. Total raised on the night was a fantastic £1208! Outgoings have to come out of this, leaving a still brilliant amount of about £1034-when SuEs Boss is not around Im sure she will correct me if wrong. She will also be along at some point to say a huge Thank You to everyone helping on the night,Paul and Marc the Hatmen for being brilliant Quizmasters,Kris for her doggie food and all her help,Ian and Vicky again for triffic desserts and all their help too.Maggie and Dave and Jacqui for setting up the hall and clearing up afterwards, always appreciated. Anyone else we;ve forgotten! Youre all greyt and helped make it a really good nite. Well done Sue

Brilliant amount raised, I'd like to say the food was excellent, Wendys sarnis and savouries (Rob dog spit included) and Vickys desserts were all yummy, not forgetting the Sue and Saras rice and pasta. A huge amount of time and effort must go into making the buffet so thanks to the clever cooks it was lovely. ;D ;D All I did was screw up a few raffle tickets, everyone else sorted the hall out. Well done Sue, thanks for organising the night

Jack's head seems fine, but it doesn't seem to have knocked any sense into him. I have ordered replacement leads, but I don't know if they will be ' Jack-proof' Perhaps we should take bets on how long they last ;D I think David fell in love with both Jack and Honey We can't have a dog ourselves because we are both at work all day and don't have an enclosed garden. We just have to be satisfied with dog sitting for Chelsea, George and Millie

Oh, and fair play to George (and Mum!) for getting up for his Sport Relief mile, after a very busy day of display team practise and being well behaved at the quiz night, most of the time ;D

I don't think I should take any bets, as the odds of them lasting are very slim!
