It was a great day! The rain stopped by midday and the crowds came out in force in the afternoon. We spoke to loads of greyhound and lurcher owners who are interested in joining walks and had quite a few good conversations with potential greyhound owners.
Photos are great, I really must find my camera charger before Christmas as my mobile is nowhere near that good at taking photos.

We had a great day. The fact that David didn't take very long to get hold of a lead was commented on ;D And we did have to stop one poor lady from eating liver cake!

I'm just glad she didn't try to do me for assault or attempted poisoning - that was a fair smack I gave her hand to stop her eating it.

I'm just glad she didn't try to do me for assault or attempted poisoning - that was a fair smack I gave her hand to stop her eating it. Made my day-I was going to let her eat it! ;D It was a brilliant day thanks everyone, lots of interest in houndies and lots of pennies raised too.Kris;s books were especially popular, and as Sara mentioned the free samples of liver cake went down well with both dogs and nearly humans Maybe when faced with Wens Green eco friendly mouldy recycled from summer Sausage Rolls they preferred the liver?!
