Makes perfect sense given the uncertainty of the weather and roads. Main roads may be okay but the side roads that many of us have to negotiate are very slippery at the moment. Ask Rob, he slipped when crossing the side road on the way to get papers this morning, luckily he isn't badly hurt as he was wearing his thick Winter gear, but he knocked his elbow and jolted his back Mind you, he is making the best of it at the moment, tea and biscuits to hand while he recuperates on the sofa Hope Rob is feeling better We walked into town to Argos this morning, and stopped off to see David's Nan on the way home. She normally goes to David's parents for tea on a Sunday, but they can't get off the driveway as they have a very steep slope going up to the roundabout on the main road. Got everything crossed we can get off our road ok tomorrow morning. We've watched somebody trying to reverse their Espace onto their driveway this afternoon, and he had to give up because he was sliding all over the place
