Dave has said that he's going to bring George over for us so we don't lose our parking space I'll come and raid your garage for the extra bits and pieces that I need after work on Friday if that's ok? |

The money has finally been counted and double checked. The grand total, minus a few foreign coins, was £356.67!!!We've absolutely smashed last year's £228, and I really wasn't expecting that as we had competition from a prostate cancer charity collecting inside the store. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support  |

Fantastic amount raised and also a lot of interest from people keen to adopt a hound, maybe that was down to sue and her selling techniques, I'm sure she could sell oil to the Arabs 😄

Well done to Charlotte, David & team, you were all brilliant. Sue, you could indeed sell oil to the Arabs. All of the hounds did amazingly well and as for Buzz, what a crowd puller!! I loved his "high fives" - he should be on BGT.

I suspect that it being the day after payday for most people helped And using buckets rather than collection tins ;D One lady quite literally emptied all her coppers out of her purse, into a bucket! There was also one young girl who went round every single dog to give them a fuss She was 5 years old (big for her age) and, according to her Mum, has autism. She really didn't want to leave them so we gave them a flyer for the show so she can come and see the dogs again. I think we made her day |
