Currently working on the weather for this walk, but I am quietly confident at the moment!

It will be Dude's 12th birthday on Sunday and he has asked me to bring some doggie 'cake' so will see what I can do.
(For those who don't know, this is where we first met - aah, violins maestro please).

Despite all the doom and gloom about the fact it won't stop raining all weekend, I am very happy that Dude will celebrate his birthday with a dry walk.

I remember that walk so well as we were all making a fuss of Dude and Susan had to be reminded that he had to go back to the kennel. She felt so at home with him that she tried to sneak him away.

Thank you to Philip and Jan for leading us around. Shame about the weather (blame Andy)!
I spoke to 3 people and their dogs who hadn't been before so hopefully the rain didn't put them off future walks. It was nice to see new boy Lennie, what a happy boy with his tail doing overtime.

Weather was lousy because I wasn't there!
22 brave hounds marched their owners around the park this morning.
Next Herts walks are February 16th at Royston and then the following Sunday at Rickmansworth.
See you there.
