Due to a clash with a big running event, we will be moving the venue for this walk. We don't want to upset hundreds of runners!
I will update this thread with the details once we have them. Watch this space!

Just a quick update on this one.
We did a recce for an alternative route for this a few weeks ago, which is a 5 minute drive from Heybridge Basin where the walk would normally be. However, the route that we took was very uneven and certainly not for the faint hearted! Jan and Rob also went to check out another alternative recommended by the local council man but apparently it may be too long. We are going back one day this week to check it out again so I will put an update on here and on Facebook, with address details etc.
There will be someone posted at the normal meeting point to direct people, if they don't do forum, Facebook or haven't heard it at a walk. We will more than likely change the start time slightly to give people time to get there.

We did a final recce today and have found a route that's suitable. Address is: Cart Lodge Tea Rooms Chigborough Road Haybridge CM9 4RE The entrance to the car park is on the right hand side just before you get to the tea rooms. It has a sign for the fisheries parking and the tea rooms parking. Somebody in hi viz will be standing next to the entrance to make sure that you don't miss it. We will move the start time of the walk to 10.15 ish and there will be somebody posted at the car park at Heybridge Basin to guide people to the right place. We wil be stopping for tea/breakfast/refreshments afterwards. David tested the breakfast and can confirm that it's great The area where the tea room is is quite small and there are a couple of other businesses based ther, so we ask that you are mindful of other members of the public who may not be dog lovers. Please could this be put on Facebook and mentioned at this weekend's walks, just in case.
