I've advertised the 100th Walk (plus fun and games) but if you can't come to the walk you're welcome to join us at the BBQ in the early evening.
There will be a donation bar with wine, beer etc and lots of soft drinks for the drivers.
Tickets are £5pp and include food from the BBQ plus of course the trimmings and a little sweet something (not me!) ;D
If you'd like to come along it will start at 6pm at Pear Tree Cottage, Barnston and there will be parking on site.
email janet@greyhoundwalks.org.uk for a ticket or 6 ;D

If you're coming can you bring a torch as it will probably be dark by the time you have to head back to your cars

Just to update every one about the day For those coming to the walk, we'll be there from 2pm and plan to go for our walk at 3pm for around an hour.
Pennie Clayton is coming along to provide some intellectual stimulation for the dogs and humans and probably some sillyness as well. We'll have prizes and treats for all.
Please bring folding chairs, rugs, and if you have them, gazebos, for providing shelter from the sun ;D Plus of course drinks, picnics etc. if you wish, although the cafe is open till 6pm. The park closes at 9pmIf you're coming on to the BBQ, that will start at 6pm (15 minute drive from the country park). Again please bring folding chairs, rugs, gazebo/shelters and something warm to wear as the evening closes in.
We'll be providing BBQ and desserts, drinks - alcoholic and soft, fun and games and hand picked piped music
If anyone has reserved tickets they can be picked up from the BBQ entrance, if anyone still would like to come there's room for a few more at a staggeringly good value for money price of just £5 a ticket Finally - if there's any kind person reading this who loves to make desserts and would like to donate one to the evening, we would be thrilled. The committee are all donating but as the numbers coming have grown so our abilities to satisfy all the sweet-toothed GW'ers diminishes!

I think we can safely say this was a huge success ;D
Just to have a bit of a waffle ... when we went for the first Greyhound Walk little did we know that the word would spread and spread and that we would ever have a 100th walk.
But ... Greyhound Walks would not be what it is without the folk who support it.
We have the most wonderfully loyal group of people who follow us wherever we go, and support us wherever we go. I think everyone looks forward to their next walk to meet up with their greyhound friends, have a good chatter and catch up and to welcome new friends to the group.
We have such nice comments from people saying thank you but the thanks are to you all.
