......This is the walk that Storm and i do most days and its got a bit of everything, so thought it may be worth considering. Its in Eastwood and is pretty easy to find - i can give directions if anyone is interested.
There is a pretty decent size car park (free
) and there are a mixture of open grass fields and woods. There is a river, farm tracks, footpaths, a small lake, and a couple of secure fenced in areas where houndies could run and not [glow=red,2,300]ESCAPE [/glow] ;D ;D should you wish to let them.
Its generally speaking accessible to all, altho there are routes i wouldn't recommend if you, or your houndies, are not feeling fit or are less mobile as there are a couple of steepish rugged hills in one direction.
You can also - if you know the way - walk all the way through to "The Bull" (Pub) in Hockley, without touching a single road if you are feeling fit

Had a really close look on google maps after and I think I've found it, looks as though I need to head towards Kent Elms but directions from there would be handy if you don't mind. 
but it's still a great venue for individuals to go
