Hoping to help out a few undeciders with a bit more information ... Dress code - I've been asked a few times what it is. As this is a special do we're thinking smart casual, i.e. no jeans, polo shirts or trainers please, but no ... you don't have to dress James Bond/Dynasty style, unless of course you want to Venue & Ticket Price - we were offered this venue for free. If we hadn't we wouldn't be able to think about an event like this. Going to a hotel for the same type of event would mean the cost would be nearly double which I'm sure is outside of most people's budget. Why - last year a Christmas dinner was organised at a local pub for the committee and volunteers, lots of people said they wished they'd also been invited. So this is our way of organising something in a venue that can accomodate lots of people and a way for myself as Chairman and Dave (my slave) to say our thanks to everyone

If anyone wants to come but isn't part of a large group you are more than welcome to join us on our table - just let me know ;D. The table/group sizing is flexible and can be pretty much arranged how you would like it. Liz
