I tried it, and it went to the right place. Is the other page possibly stored in your cache memory SJ? (Like I have any idea what that means!!!!!!!)

As Dixie Mum posted, your browser is probably picking up an erroneous cached page.
What you can do when that happens is to put the /? switch after the URL

So in this case it would be:
www.facebook.com/pages/Great-British-Greyhound-Walk/289648203091/?
