We've had a quite adverse comment made on a forum (I went on and put them right!) and a pretty negative email ... again I've fought our corner. Their loss if they don't want to join in |

How someone can be adverse to something so worthwhile and rewarding as Greyhound Walks is beyond me. It has brought a whole new aspect to my life since I joined. Thank you to Janet and team. |

I totally agree with Edwina.
Philip and I started the walks last July, have met loads of great people to chat to & also find the forum very useful. The hounds absolutely love meeting each other. Folks where we walk all seem happy to meet such a well behaved group of dogs (and people) and often stop for a chat.
If it hadn't been for the Forum we wouldn't have met our lovely foster dog, Captain.
Looking forward to Sunday and then hearing how many dogs walked all over the country!!!

this is an extract from the email received from an individual concerning not allowing other breeds ... much of the rest of it was equally negative "I consider that I and quite a number of rescues do more for the rehoming of Greyhounds and other Breeds than this GBGW with its silly restriction on other breeds attending."That really rattled my cage ... best for people to do their homework about us and what we do before slinging insults  |

Not surprised it annoyed you.
There are stupid, ignorant, party poopers lurking in every town. They seem to live to make others miserable and are all to quick to moan and groan and throw critisim and abuse at people.
I think the fact that you now have 58 walks organised over the UK, with what will presumably be thousands of greyhounds all walking at the same time, shows that these negative morons are in the minority.
