Oh yes we're off to Hylands Park (Chelmsford) on Sunday, whatever the weather we'll be there our usual happy smiley selves  Meet close to the car park of the A414 (our usual one) ready for a midday walk. Apart from a nice walk with good friends this is also the reccee for NYD walk. Anyone is welcome to join us, especially if you'd like to help with marshalling on NYD, we're hoping it will be another big one! Might be warm drinks on offer at the end ... any motorhomes going you motorhome owners? See's you's there ;D |

Hi The New Years Day walk is by far our biggest walk on the calendar - the last walk attracting over 200 greyhounds. On Sunday we'll be doing a recee as we're changing the route, and to make sure the route is safe. According to callendar.. the NYD walk is Brandon Country Park and not Hylands?

Poor Jess is being speyed on Christmas Eve (mean mummy) so it might just be me and the Twigster on New years Day.
Hylands Park looks good, hopefully I'll make it Sunday.

Mother in law's poorly in hospital so it is dependant on how she is tomorrow.
I've got the usual heap of dogs next to me, Jess is chasing something in her sleep so I keep getting kicked!! must be good she's smiling too. ;D

A big big thank you to all those who came to the Hylands Park recee today, your time is much appreciated ! I was left quite stunned and humbled at the number of volunteers we've had wanted to be marshals for the New Years Day walk All we have to do now is sit back and wait for the big day ;D In the meantime, if you have any quesions, please don't hesitate to either post them here or PM me. |

Lots of us making all the right waves in front of the Hylands Park visitors, lovely walk, smashing hot chocolate and Tiffen cakes ... perfect Sunday midday meander ... and we were working too!
