We've got a couple of ideas on the go but think our main weekend may be for Walton on the Naze Carnival which is usually the third weekend of August.
There's a nice campsite with decent dog walk and a short drive to the coast. Those who want to can join the carnival (hUgE fun) on the Saturday and have fish and chips by the sea as we wind down at the end of the day (YuM)
If anyone is interested in coming camping can you respond to the thread so we've got an idea of numbers and can make enquiries at the site.

Isn't Walton Carnival usually the same weekend as V? V is the weekend of 18th and 19th August this year. I'll ask David and let you know  |

At £50 each??  There are b&b's nearby but no mention of dogs & no reply from tourist office who might know  |
