I would love to come camping but I'm on call as it will be harvest then and I work part time for a grain haulage company. If for some reason I don't work I would love to camp but I would only know at the last minute.

Walton Carnival is on Saturday 1st September so I've reserved 8 pitches - 3 for motorhomes/houses/mansions with electric - 5 tent pitches - for 2 nights from Friday 31st August at Homestead Park ( www.homesteadlake.co.uk/). We stayed here last year and it's very comfortable, nice wander round the fishing lake and about 15 minute drive from the coast. Price is £22.50 per night per pitch (prices are calculated per night for 2 people including car, caravan & awning) plus  Extras per night Children (under 18): £2.00 Adults (over 18): £4.00 Dogs: £2.00 Anyone who would like to come can you please send me (janet@greyhoundwalks.org.uk) the following informationName Address Contact Tel. no. Motorhome/Tent No. of Adults/Children/Dogs( for each party) Once I send that info off we get the pitch price back and a 20% deposit is needed. I can try and reserve more pitches if needed.

Bumping this up as we are doing the camping weekend at Weeley but it doesn't coincide with Walton Carnival (they changed their date) so we can have a relaxing weekend of seaside walks and late summer BBQ's.
Please reply to the thread if you're still interested in coming, we have some pitches, caravan/motorhome and tent, reserved but need to confirm with the owners our final numbers.

Hope to come to this but wont know till nearer the time due to work commitments, will be bringing a tent if we can make it. The rest of you may need to bring ear plugs if we come as Linford tends to cry at night when we are away  . |

I have just spoken to the people at Homestead Lake camp Site re Camping weekend 31 aug 1st sept. They need to know ASAP how many pitches we require & whether its a MH or tent , how many nights, how many people & dogs per unit. Can you please PM or Email me with all the relevent info., so i can get back to them to make a definite booking. Its £22.50. per night & £2 a night per dog. HI DE HI. Rob.  |
