As helping to cover the gates is part of the agreement of us doing the BBQ, I've made a couple of slight changes to the rota
Volunteers?
Everything will be onsite ready to go (fingers crossed ) so you only have to bring yourselves
For the evening BBQs we need minimum 4 people, 2 to cook, 1 to serve, 1 for money
For the Sunday we need as many as we can over the time for BBQ but stall will only be up till 5ish depending on the weather.

Thursday 7:30pm to 10ish - Funky Tracks on the Tracks
Evening BBQ volunteers: Janet P, Frances and Marc if needed
Charlotte and David if needed
Tin rattlers at entrances 7 till 8ish: kris & Dave P

Friday 7:30pm to 10ish - Comedy & Music
Evening BBQ volunteers - Dave P, Janet P, Frances kris and marc
Charlotte and David
Tin rattlers at entrances 7 till 8ish: kris & Dave P

Saturday 7:30pm to 10ish - Midsummer Music
Evening BBQ volunteers from 6pm - Charlotte and David, Steve Brown (with BBQ). Paul & Samantha
Tin rattlers at entrances 7 till 8ish: Mandy Brown
If the BBQ team could decide amongst themselves who wll do tin rattle - needs two

Just sat down after unloading the last bits from the car. The 4 day BBQ is over. Another good day for us despite the horrendous weather, thank you to all 'Team Sunday'. For those of us who were there this evening, there was some really excellent music |

Bumped into a couple who used to come along to our walks in Tesco car park yesterday evening. They came to the Rayne Arts Festival on Sunday afternoon where we were running the BBQ and said, and I quote, "that was the best burger I ever tasted" ... well done Greyhound Walks 'Team Sunday'! Dave P can probably tell you how many burgers and hot dogs we sold ... it was quite a few. I banked the profit from the BBQ yesterday and we made a very commendable £364.92 profit. A very big thanks to everyone who helped but there has to be a special mention to Kris who was marketeer extrordinaire (sorry if that's not a word!)  |
