As the summer's activities will soon all be over we're going to do another Quiz Night at Rayne Village Hall (where we held our first one and where they are very dog friendly). Marc & Kris Owen, being on the winning team of the last Quiz will be our Quizmasters ;D Tickets as before will include a light supper and we'll operate a free bar. There will be a raffle and several donations buckets dotted around the hall for your spare coins and notes. Prices will be £6 Adult £4 Child £1.00 Dog Capacity for the hall is 80 humans so there are limited places. As we were let down last time by people reserving tickets to be paid on the door and them not arriving, tickets will need to be paid for in advance please. come on every one - buy your tickets - these quiz nites are a good laugh ;D: humans are getting supper and the hounds are getting lamb, mint and veg meatloaf, crunchy biscuits and desserts - what more can you ask??? this time we even have bonus questions with extra prizes and points - throughout the quiz. Marc has set the questions -  - could be interesting! ;D ;D ;D |

I realise the answer will probably be no, but are there any spare seats/places for the quiz? My weekend away has been cancelled at short notice so if there are any spaces I would love to come.

A big thanks to Janet and Dave and all her little helpers, for a great evening. Hope we raised lots of money! I won a raffle prize, which I'm sitting here drinking as I type! Old Speckled Hen! Lovely! The food was great and the biscuits naughty (you should have been there) and I'll leave it to Kris to explain why! Lots of lovely houndies of course who all enjoyed a very nice meal! Although in Mo's case, 2! Naughty girl! See you all at Southend! |

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Quiz night. It was a very busy night and I think everyone enjoyed themselves (perhaps not the dogs when the microphone was too loud and they leapt off their beds!) We've not even emptied the cars yet so no idea what the £ situation is. Dave's going to sort that while I'm doing the Southend walk with George A very big thank you to Marc, Kris and Paul for running the show, Charlotte and David for chipping in again and everyone who brought along a dessert |

Hi Everyone - Marc here. Left my lap top charger at the village hall - using Kris's lap top and cant remember my log in  Thank you for everyone who came and joined in last night - hope you enjoyed it. In our ever efficient manner cleaning up last night: we cleaned up the score papers so we cant post them today- oops   We do have the scores - but they are on the board in Dave and Janets car - so we will post but in a few days! sorry everyone and congrats to the winners of the quiz and spot prizes and well done to everyone else. I thoroughly enjoyed being herr commandant  |
