Are they the same as Old Rope String Band that you went to see in Bishops Castle for Arts Alive?

It's important to note: This event is also being promoted by Essex On Tour, and will feature in their next events / gigs brochure. We are fortunate in that as co-promotors we can offer tickets through the Greyhound Walks forum and website before they go on general public sale.
This promises to be fantastic evening, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Final arrangements are coming together for this now, we've nearly sold out, only a few tickets left so if you're thinking of coming but not quite made up your mind now is the time to decide and contact Dave if you want a ticket. Some people have said folk music isn't their thing but this is more a cabaret/comedy/music night. We've sold loads of tickets to people outside of Greyhound Walks who've seen them before and want to see them again, and we've had one inquiry for a party of 20 people to come along! What we do want to do though is take the chance to promote greyhounds so I'll be putting out literature on the chairs and have a display board and might even rollout Chelsea for the night. We could maybe do with a couple of extra bullet proof dogs to sit either at the back or in the corridor so people who might want to have the chance to do so Appeal I've been contacted by the band and have a rather unusual request from them. Vera and Jock have a 17 month old lad who travels with them and comes to the events. Normally he sleeps but he's now started to decide he doesn't want to and Vera is looking for someone to babysit him through the performance. He's very laid back and quite happy to watch while mum works.
If you know anyone who likes looking after children and would like to come along and lend a hand can you get in touch with me? Or if you're coming and think you can help out ditto.Thanks. Janet (phew that was a l long diatribe!)

We had a great night, just doing the clearing up of the stuff we brought back. More or less capacity audience, although there were a few 'no shows' so we could have sold their seats to the many people who called yesterday morning asking for tickets if they had let us know. Band went down very well but they do have a huge following all over the country so we were hoping for that. Everyone who gave us feedback forms were very impressed and Dave said he'd go and see them again so praise indeed Hopefully we made a few pennies, I'll let Ian post the results later in the week. But a very big thank you to Ian, Vicky, David, Charlotte, Kelly, Paul and Karen from Dave and myself for helping us with this venture. And of course the band who had a very unique way of calling the raffle

Kelly and I had a few people who had 'bought too many tickets' and left a few on the door! We did wonder why they bought so many if they didnt need them
