Rough directions -
Brandon Country Park is off the B1106 between the A1065 Brandon and the A11 Elvedon. There are brown signs for the park from both directions.

Please park in the Orchard Car Park which is the furthest from the entrance (after the residential care home).

Parking and charges - £1.30 up to 2 hours, £2.50 over 2 hours

Suitable for buggys and wheelchairs? - no

Toilet facilities - in main car park

Refreshments - yes, tea room and gift shop

Nearest dog friendly pub - not known

Looks like it's going to be a dry Brandon Walk (maybe I shouldn't speak too soon)
We will have a January sale after the walk for any bargain hunters amongst you.

Hi All, was looking forward to this walk, but going to have to give it a miss, because Jack having a run around the garden cut his back leg, phoned vet as Saturday afternoon is emergency service only. So I have cleaned with salt and water put steri-strips on, they do not want to stick to fur, then a non lint dressing and taped it up. Will change dresing on sunday and wash with diluted TCP..by answer to everything.
I imagine to morrow will be subject to much joy from the Luton football
supporters!!!

Sorry to hear Jack has cut his leg I hope it heals quickly. We missed you all!
It was a lovely walk despite the fog and 31 Hounds joined us including some new ones
Well done to Sally for winning the chocolates for her Dad, spot on guess young Sally!!
Ernie Easter behaved beautifully as he walked Sarah round and I think he won a few hearts at the same time (still needs a home though)
See you all next month, hopefully including Mr Weston et al.

Hi, Jack doing well, took him to vets on monday just to be on safe side. she inspected the wound praised my bandaging, put some cream on covered wound up ...leave bandage on for three days, short walks etc.....loking forward to next month.

Gemma & I enjoyed the walk very much, having missed the Boxing Day & New Year's Day walks because of yours truly having the flu - I was really cheesed off at not being part of the record breaking NY Day walk.
Thanks Steve & Mandy for your get well wishes. It was good to see you both at Brandon, even if Luton did trounce my team!!!
