If you fancy a wander around a nice part of Tring, then join us on Saturday 16th March at 10am outside The Greyhound Pub, Wiggington. We have permission to use the pub's car park. Use the postcode: HP23 6EH. Take the Tring exit off the A41, follow signs to Wigginton turn right into Chesham Road. Pub on right. If car park full, more parking in Recreation ground on right, a bit further on. Just to get a feel of how many might come, could you please indicate on this thread if you intend to join in. Thanks ;D

What a shame I have to go to London, otherwise we'd have come along for a look-see.
What a possible advertising coup for the future, 50 greyhounds outside the Greyhound (free beer)?.

Hi Andy, I might come along, although I will have a friend staying and am not sure how she would feel about dog walking ;D.

Philip & I are coming. I'll tell a lady who lives in Tring with her GH girl because she doesn't have a computer.
Great to end up at a pub as GRWE have started this but theirs are over Hitchin and Luton and both great pubs! Walks are ok.

All being well, we'll be there Good chance to take a picture of us outside the pub for the GW facebook album 'Greyhounds at The Greyhound' if people want to become famous/infamous

Unfortunately the pub does not open until 12:00, although they have said that they will open for us for a full walk.

Unfortunately the pub does not open until 12:00, although they have said that they will open for us for a full walk. Thats unfortunate, could we not meet at 10.30 then we would only have half an hour till the pub opens .

Sorry we cannot come on the Tring walk or Stanborough Lakes as Betty has just had a corn surgically removed. Have a good walk, hope the rain and cold ease off.

Well, the weather wasn't kind initially but, after a bit of a muddy start, it was a lovely walk in good company through tree-lined avenues with wonderful views of the Hertfordshire countryside. Well worth the trip out this morning. The sun even shone towards the end As Andy said, perhaps a summer fixture? Thanks to Roger for leading us round & to the stalwart walkers and their hounds for a lovely morning
