Ditto Steve, really enjoyed this walk too, lovely to go somewhere different, thank you Roger for showing us the route and Andy and Jan for making the arrangements. Ditto Steve and Sheena. It was great to meet up with you all, especially the surprise of Linda and Mervyn plus the pack arriving. Haven't seen Steve for a while to chat to but managed it today. As Sophie seemed so keen to actually go into The Greyhound pub we popped in at 12.00 to have some of their real beer and a delicious brie and bacon hot baguette. Really yummy with really good bacon. Who has those usually, Tony & Rose? A good venue. Thanks once again.

Great photos Mervyn & Linda and, yes, it really was as wet as it looks!

Great photos thanks Mervyn for posting them. At least the rain didn't dampen our spirits

Unfortunately I had used up all my weather "points" last weekend for Jan's Daughter's wedding, so we had to pay the price this weekend!
However, normal service will shortly be resumed! ;D
Thanks to Roger for the suggestion of Tring, I think we might see it in next year's walk calendar. ;D
And thanks also to the "die-hards" for turning out!!!

Glad you all enjoyed it despite the rain at the start. Glad that we had that big yellow globe in the sky for the last bit of the walk.
