Sadly, like last year, the weather has got the better of us. The Greyhound walks Show planned for Sunday 28th April has been cancelled.
The showground and car park are absolutely soaked, and even at this early stage, the general consensus is that it won’t dry out in time. Rather than take the risk and maybe having to cancel the show at short notice, which incurs high costs, the decision was taken to cancel now and reschedule for later in the year.
The rescheduled date is: Sunday 11th August 2013
The location will be the same: Gt Notley Country Park, Braintee, Essex, CM77 7FS. The post code will take you right to the park
If you are a kennel, trader, sponsor or you've prebooked classes:
If you were a pitch- holder for the 28th April show:
Whether you be charity or trade, you'll be given the option to take the same pitch that was previously allocated to you. There would be no further payment or paperwork necessary - just a simple "Yes / No" email. I hope to send that email out very soon.
Any pitches left over will be made available using our normal process of offering:
1st Kennels
2nd Dog related trade
3rd Other trade
At normal rates.
If you are interested in being added to a reserve list of pitches that might become available, can you email me at: davepeacock@greyhoundwalks.org.uk
If you've prebooked Greyhound / Lurcher classes for the 28th April show:
These will still be valid for the rescheduled show. So please keep your tickets safe. We will be extending the prebooking period for the rescheduled show until 30th June. Or you can of course book on the day - as has always been the case.
If you've lost, eaten or doodled on your old ticket(s), contact me and I'll send replacement(s). In your contact, please include your name and dog(s) names
If a dog has moved into the next age group by the time of the show, you can amend it on the day at booking in - we'll set up a special desk for amendments.
