Walton Carnival Weekend - Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August Floats will be assembling from 12.30pm, judging will conclude at 1.30pm and the processions starts from Naze Tower, The Naze, Old Hall Lane, Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex CO14 8LE at 2pm. PROCESSION IS ON SATURDAY 17TH AUGUST ONLYWe have been asked to do their dog show on Sunday 18th August  Stall: Yes Display Team: No More details to follow |

Everyone welcome to join us in the parade on Saturday 17th The dog show will be starting at around 1pm on Sunday 18th. Greyhound Walks have organised this so please feel free to come along and support us! A few of us are camping at Homestead Lake on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August. Ruby & I will be there for the parade on Saturday. Not sure we'll be up to doing Sunday too though & Homestead Lakes is now full.  Where are we meeting on Saturday? Has it been decided? I also have a local family (mum, 2 kids & 1 or 2 teenagers) who would like to join us Saturday. (They all fell in love with Ruby a few weeks ago & would like to meet some more hounds. I'm hoping, for teenager #2's sake, that Mum will consider adopting a hound in the future.  ) Is that ok with you all? |

Thank you for the thought Janet, but just tried ringing them & apparently they only allow tents on 4 pitches + you had been allocated a "front row pitch" which is a "tent free zone", so still no good. Never mind! x |

How much is the Pay & Display car park? Last year I didn't have enough change on me to stay very long. It's be nice to be able to stay a bit longer this time and not just 3 hours.
