By the way, I'm not certain, but I think the parking charge may have gone up to £3.

It's actually quite difficult to find out before you get to the car park.

Have just used this new-fangled thing called a phone and gave Stanborough lakes a call

They confirmed that the parking charge for Sunday is £3 and that's for all day.

21 hounds paraded their owners around the lakes this morning, and the weather was firstly, excellent, then fine, then a bit windy but it didn't rain (until the walk was over).

Next week Lee Valley.

Don't forget next month we are at Royston on the third Sunday and Rickmansworth on the fourth.
