I'm sure Dave and the other Trustees will post here when they've recovered but in the meantime we would like to say a very big thank you to: everyone who came to the show - If you came to the show for the first time I hope you enjoyed it, if you came again we hope you (like us) thought it was the best yet. everyone who helped yesterday - too many to mention everyone who helped on Saturday - too many to mention everyone who helped in recent weeks as stress levels rose and jobs needed doing everyone who helped in the last 8 months to plan, administer and complete the endless lists of tasks on the list People's commitment yesterday was outstanding, I had to leave for a while during the day and when I got back at 4 the ground was still so busy, the sun was still shining and faces, although tired, were still smiling. Just can't thank you all enough. An event of this scale and quality doesn't just magically happen even if we have 'done it all before'. This years event would not have happened at all if Dave Peacock hadn't put in the hundreds of hours he did to plan it and bring it all together, no mean feat when you have a very demanding day job and numerous family commitments (and a demanding wife ) I'd like to make a very special mention of our friends George and Margaret who came down from Ayr to help again for the 4th year. George is an amazing man, completely tireless, does anything he's asked without complaint or argument so hard working. All this despite being really quite unwell for the last 4 years. We hope very much he'll be helping at the 7th GW Show.

We wanted to say Thank You to everyone who was involved in the show because it was absolutely superb and it was our first visit. You all worked so incredibly hard to ensure that all us vistors had a good time and from the people we bumped in to for a natter they were of the same opinion.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Dave and his team for all their hard work. We had a great day, although I don't think either of us actually stopped! We're both knackered today. I had a day off but poor David was back at work. Looking forward to next year

I'd just like to say well done to EVERYONE who was involved! ... But special mention has to go to Janet & Dave, Jan & Rob and Charlotte & David, you guys are amazing. ... Oh & Andy Taylor, who really is the best 'waffler' I've met, lol. I didn't sit down once from 7am until 5.30pm, but it was so worth it! Ruby & I had a great day and I'm dead proud to be able to say I am tiny part of such a great team. Here's to next year! x

I would also like to thank Sue Gregory (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) who has all the stuff stored in her garage and had to put up with lots of people calling at her house most of Saturday picking stuff up, and then again on Sunday and Monday dropping stuff back off again! We really appreciate you allowing us to take over your garage Sue

Lilly and Barry had a lovely day on Sunday at your show. There was so much to see and do I only got a chance to take a photo at the end of the day of them looking down at the show ground. Thank you Dave, Janet and the team for a great day that was so well organised, friendly and blessed with perfect weather too. Can we have two next year? Only joking.

Was an amazing day I had quite a chilled one actually which makes a change.
We took several hounds over for the day that needed homes although 2 home offers were lovely homes but unfortunately our hounds were not cat friendly.
Every one of our kennel hounds that were entered were placed and every one had a greyt day.
Most of the hounds that walked around looked a credit to the owners.
It was a very well organised event and you could tell that. :-)
