Hello all! You can count me & Mouse in on this one too, as it's just up the road for us. I'm happy to man the stall while you all do the parade, if that helps. (And I believe Claire & Evie have also offered.) I have my GW t-shirt now, thanks to Charlotte, but if you need me to bring anything else then just shout.  |

Unfortunately we cant make this now, Charlie hurt his paw while at the kennels week before last and had to have stitches, it is healing slowly thankfully

The weather forcast doesn't look good  My MetOffice App says thunderstorms early morning and then heavy rain all day. Will the carnival go ahead in poor weather? |

We will be setting up the GW stall in Promenade park events field, which is at the museum end of the park, from about 9.30 We will have GW jackets for dogs and GW sashes for peeps to wear in the parade. If you have a GW polo shirt/fleece to wear that would be great but if you don't, that is not a problem, everyone is welcome to join in. The judging starts at 1pm so it would be helpful if we could meet up at the GW stall by 12.15 or if you prefer, on Cross Road by 12.45 so we can be ready for the judges  If you haven't been on a carnival parade, it is a fun, enjoyable way to show off your hounds and the dogs are always very popular. After the parade please come and join us at the GW awareness stall, everyone is welcome there too and it is very rewarding to be able to tell people about our wonderful hounds Whatever the weather, Greyhound Walks people know how to have a great day! Look forward to seeing everyone ;D |

You will have a fun day, I will look out for you all from the comfort of my front room ;o) Modified to add a weather report. At the moment in Cross Road, maldon the sun is out and its lovely and warm there are a few clouds in the sky but not many and not to threatening, at least not at the moment.  |
