The Dunmow Carnival is just a couple of weeks away, so plans moved into top gear last night with Stitch & Draw designing the costumes for the dogs - poor George ended up as their "model", and will probably need months of therapy to get over the experience.
The Gt Dunmow Carnival, if you haven't been before, is an absolute must. There's something for everyone, including a 2.5 mile parade - which Greyhound Walks are taking part in.
If you'd like to help, we're looking for people to take part in the parade and / or help on the Greyhound Walks Stall. If you're interested, either add your name to this thread or PM me. If you wish to take part in the parade, can you also include how many dogs you have so we know how many costumes to make

This is just the framework for the works of art that will become our greyhound costumes ... George will do anything for a biscuit Big thanks to Kris for her creative talents And ... have you guessed it (what the nursery rhyme) is yet?

Details of the start and finish point of the procession are as follows: Start at the northern end of the Recreation Ground, in Church Street next to the Angel & Harp (sat nav CM6 2AD). The line up area will be open from 10am, judging is at 12pm and the procession starts at 1pm. The procession finishes in the same place as the start at around 2.20pm. Stall set up is between 9.30am and 12 noon. David and I will be there to set up from about 9.30. Any help would be much appreciated
