I'd do this on any of the days (shouldn't be a problem taking a days holiday) but I don't have a dog to take. Chelsea ... no way could she go. George not sure he'd handle it at all well too much stress for him

Kevin and myself would like to do Saturday as well with 1 dog - Tia. Charlie would have a fit and Ruby would not be happy either

I wouldn't mind going on the Saturday if there is a spare ticket. David has sort of said he would like to go, it depends on his work committments

This picks up the thread from the Off Topic Chat area so that we can arrange ourselves for this event. In brief - we've been invited onto a stall by a food manufacturer for all four days of the Crufts Show. We are participating to promote greyhounds and the whole idea of getting organised groups of walkers together to enrich the lives of rehomed greyhounds. For us it will be about showcasing responsible greyhound ownership and the joys of having retired racing greyhounds in the home ... so rather exciting! We have four passes per day and we can have 2 people and 2 dogs on the stand at a time, that will give everyone a chance to change over during the day. Passes will only go to people who are accompanying a dog and that dog has to be 110% bullett proof! It's going to be a long and challenging day so please don't put your dog forward if it isn't capable of coping, the well being of our dogs is paramount. Better to not be there than to have an unhappy dog there. Anyone who represents us on the stall will need to wear a Greyhound Walks polo shirt and their dog wear a Greyhound Walks coat. We'll have our leaflets for ourselves and the Great British Greyhound Walk to hand out. We won't be 'taking over' the traders stall, just enhancing it We'll contact everyone who's expressed an interest and get a plan together, if you don't get a ticket sorry, if you do ... have a great time! If you want to go along but you're not accompanying a dog then you'll have to buy your own ticket I'm afraid. Any questions then please PM me or Linda.

I'd like to volunteer Trinity and I for this and could do either Thursday or Friday. However, there is an issue.
She is still limping and the vet now thinks it may be her hip that is the problem, she goes in for an x-ray tomorrow. As we don't know what the issue is I cannot say if she'll be ok for Crufts. Knowing how far you have to walk from the car park it may be a problem for her.
Best put us down with a query?

Quick Trinity update. Nothing showing on the x-ray which is good news. Looks like it is soft tissue damage which just means no walks and plenty of rest so not sure how long that is going to take to mend. I'm just relieved it is nothing more serious.
