We will be there and this week we have acquired a new addition to the family by the name of Gizmo the 7 month old lurcher. So this time we will have two mad lurchers, one younger and nuttier than the other. It will be Gizmo's first greyhound walk and Winston's second since he had his first experience at Royston a few weeks ago.

We hope to have 3 new families coming on this walk. We did a home check this morning and hopefully they'll be there if they manage to pick up their girl from Whittingham on Saturday plus they've told a friend who has just adopted a blue lurcher from Dogs Trust. The other will be Louise with her new GH, Paddy from GRWE. Spreading the word.  |

At the risk of putting everybody else off this walk...Booze N Snooze (who's been in particularly superb AsboDog form lately!!!) will be in attendance! We've missed the last two as we had a foster who needed to rest when Royston was on and I wouldn't go to Chipperfield as it started snowing just before we were due to leave. Let's hope nothing happens this time as it's great to meet up with you all on these walks. |

If all goes to plan, Booze will be saying hello to some of his previous rehomers at this walk. It's amazing how much I've found out about his life before I knew him from a few short emails over the weekend. I guess with his 'interesting' behaviour towards other breeds, I shouldn't be surprised that he was a bit of a yo-yo dog! Always love this walk, but looking forward to it more than ever now |

As Karen says just come along with poo bags and a sense of humour as we're a very casual friendly bunch. Andy and Jan always ask if there's new people so we can look out & have a chat with you. Karen, I'm sure there'll be loads of people wanting to walk your two and hopefully the lovely Harry wouldn't mind us if there's not someone with hands free. Met a girl out with her 2 lurchers just now so she's been given a GH walks card & will come along soon but is working this Sunday. |

Very disappointed that I am not going to be able to make the walk on Sunday, I was really looking forward to it as I've not seen everyone since New Years Day.  My car went in for a Service yesterday and to discover the reason for a strange clonking noise. Turns out I may need a new gear box!  Garage are going to see if they can re-condition the one I have which will be a little less expensive. Will know the outcome Mon/Tues. Have a good walk everyone, fingers crossed I make it to the next one. x |
